According to standard rules of English, this should be pronounced "far-ZEE-guh". As we know, "X" can be pronounced like a "Z", as in "Xylophone". If it were far-ZIG-ah, it would require double Gs. The medical pro who prescribed it to me called it "far-IX-uh", but that makes no sense at all.
