How to pronounce Vodrey?

VO-dree.

The first syllable receives the emphasis. It rhymes with “doe, foe, and go”. The second syllable rhymes with “tree”. Our name is of French or Belgian origin, and as such has variant spellings such as Vaudreuil, and others. The American branch of the Vodrey family is descended from English pioneer potter immigrants who came to the USA in the late 1820s from Staffordshire.

We American Vodrey family members are all (to the best of our knowledge) descendants of the same English couple. Jabez and Sarah Vodrey were pioneer potter immigrants from Staffordshire who arrived in the United States in 1827. I am a member of the fifth of six American generations (as of 2021) We do not have knowledge of how many generations of Vodreys there were in England, and before that in either France or Belgium.
