Saw-lee or sollie, as in Dollie but with an "S", the "T" is silent.
Translates from Cherokee to English as Charlie and means little Charlie. "Tsa" is pronounced char or chah or chaw and "li" is pronounced lee.

Tsali gave his life allong with his sons at the beginning of the Trail of Tears so that the tenant of Cherokee people would not be executed that are now the Eastern Band of Cherokee. All but one son was executed. The youngest son was saved and raised by the wife of the famous American John Ross.
