I am from Florida. However, I am connected to the Haudenosaunee people through my wife's side of the family, my wife and kids all having Mohawk ancestry. The nations of the Confederacy are all in New York state, between Lake Erie and Lake Champlain. That is the only place in the world the word Haudenosaunee is used/pronounced.
